This is a collection of articles for AI Safety group organizers. We’re written about some key elements of AI safety strategy to save you time and increase your impact!
Thank you to Nikola Jurković (Harvard’s AISST) for allowing us to adapt some of his articles for this guide.
This is a very rough, non-comprehensive list of some key AI safety opportunities to be aware of for you and your group members. The list kind of works in a funnel, assuming that someone would start by engaging with AI safety content, then take a course, then build career capital, then participate in an internship-like opportunity before finding a full-time role.
Key: 🟢 While there are many great opportunities on this list, green dots indicate opportunities we either think are a good use of time for most people, trust/have personal relationships with the people in charge, or have heard strong recommendations from others.
